The Story of Bloom

Sunflowers are not flowers that

They continue to bloom, believing in the light that lies beyond.

Nishijin Bloom was born
from such sunflower vitality.

There are times in life
when things do not go as planned.

However,
only those who continue to look forward at all times
will arrive at a new landscape.

This jacket
is one piece made for that purpose.

The Sunflower Edition

Sunflowers floating on water.

The sunflowers in this work
do not merely represent bright flowers.

With sunflowers symbolizing vitality
and water signifying regeneration and purification,

by layering the two,

"Never forgetting hope even in the midst of hardship"

is the sentiment expressed.

The original art was drawn in watercolor,
and even the accidental bleeding and fluctuations
have been delicately reproduced through Nishijin weaving.

While each flower is different,
they harmonize beautifully as a whole.

It is as if it were life itself.

Nishijin-ori

Kyoto’s Nishijin weaving, passed down for over a thousand years.

It changes its expression depending on the angle of the light,
and new discoveries are made the closer you look.

It is not flamboyant.

Yet, it is unforgettable.

That is true beauty.

The sunflower placed on the lapel
becomes a quiet story known only to the wearer.
