Settepieghe
Sette (number 7) and Pieghe (fold) in Italian.
Literally refers to a seven-fold tie, and in English it is called 7 FOLD Tie.
The fabric is folded seven times to form a necktie.
A settepiege requires twice as much fabric as a regular necktie.
The process is also very complicated and requires hand sewing.
To make a sette piege, first prepare a rectangular piece of fabric that is almost square, and cut the fabric along the pattern at an angle of 45 degrees (bias). Fold it over and hand sew it together. Prioritizing the richness of the appearance and the tightening comfort, this sette piege is a popular shape that some people say that once you put it on, you will only want to wear it because of the soft and light feel that makes use of the texture of the fabric itself.
Because there are very few craftsmen who can make it, it is a very rare sette piege necktie.
