Imperial Radiance was born
from this "multifaceted nature of light."

Life is much the same.

If your perspective changes,
your future will change.

That is the sentiment imbued
in this jacket.

The Sun Cubism

The origin of this work was
the sun I looked up at one day during the pandemic.

A time when the world stood still
and the future became obscured.

Yet, the sun alone
remained unchanged.

I reconstructed that light
using the technique of Cubism.

Broken down by straight lines and planes, the light
does not represent a single correct answer,
but rather a diversity of viewpoints.

The impression changes depending on the angle of view.

The expression changes depending on the distance.

It is, in many ways, just like life itself.

Nishijin Weaving

Kyoto’s Nishijin weaving has been passed down for over a thousand years.

Its expression shifts depending on the angle at which it catches the light,
and new discoveries are made the closer you look.

Sun Cubism is a pattern that maximizes the characteristics of this Nishijin fabric.

From a distance, it holds a quiet dignity.

Up close, a complex composition of light.

What remains in one's memory
is not a bold assertion,
but depth.

Gold Thread Embroidery

The lapel is adorned with embroidery made from genuine gold thread.

This is not mere decoration.

It is a symbol of light.

It does not represent the sun directly,
but rather the lingering radiance that light leaves behind.

A presence that emerges only the moment it catches the light.
